A rare French silver, gilt and enamel Chinoiserie desk clock attributed to Boucheron, Paris, circa 1880. The movement by Juvet. The Chinese caliber center seconds movement in openwork silver arch rising from a pair of fu-dogs above an octagonal base etched with Chinoiserie figures and emblems and set with a champlevé enamel panel of birds in a tree the movement with Chinese stamped maker’s mark of Juvet, the frame with French import marks Measures: 7″ high x 5″ wide x 4″ deep Excellent condition.
